Allen Gardens Conservatory
Allen Gardens Conservatory has been around for more than a century, and boasts nearly half an acre of greenhouse space. The greenhouses allow the climate in Toronto to support plants from around the world, ranging from jungle fauna to desert foliage. The conservatory is open year round and costs only $8.00 per person. Harbourfront Centre Located in the heart of Toronto, Harbourfront Centre has more than enough activities to keep you and your date busy. The waterfront has a beautiful boardwalk, perfect for meandering around the harbor or just watching boats come in. The Natrel Rink at Harbourfront is open 7 days a week and is a great place to go ice skating. Adult skate rentals start at only $7.00.
High Park
Toronto is home to many beautiful parks, and High Park is one of the best. Obviously, strolling through the park is completely free. The area is full of beautiful foliage and home to many species of native wildlife. Colborne Lodge is an historic home preserved in memory of John and Jemina Howard. Mr. Howard was a Toronto City Planner in the early 1800’s, and along with his wife was a founder of High Park. The home is open nearly every day of the week, and adult admission costs only $5.71.

Conveniently located in downtown Toronto, the Art Gallery of Ontario is a great place to take a date with a creative flare and appreciation for fine art. The Gallery hosts many special exhibitions throughout the year. Although adult admission is $19.50, there are many special discount times and dates which feature reduced ticket prices and, in some cases, free admission.
