The Hart House Orchestra (HHO) is an orchestra based at Hart House at the University of Toronto. Members of the orchestra consist of current students and faculty, alumni and members of the community. The orchestra performs three times a year at the Hart House Great Hall. All concerts are free of charge and seating is on a first-come-first-served basis.
Anyone interested in joining the HHO can attend open rehearsals at the beginning of each season and register for a spot to audition to become a full orchestra member. Since the HHO is a "club" within Hart House, a membership for Hart House access is required. Registered University of Toronto students do not have to pay this membership fee as it is included in their annual tuition. Furthermore a music deposit (refunded at the end of the season) and club fee will be charged and can be paid during registration.
