New World Plaza - Shopping, Chinese Restaurants in Toronto

New World Plaza is a strip mall with predominantly Chinese businesses. It is located in northern Scarborough. The plaza was opened in the late 1980s and is named after the anchor restaurant - New World. New World was one the first Chinese restaurants in the area. It still exists, although it was changed owners multiple times
