Ontario Academy of Art and Design (OCAD) is a University in downtown Toronto. Its main focus is visual arts and design. It is Canada's largest and oldest institution for art and design.

History
A former college, in 2008, OCAD became a university. An emphasis was placed onacademics over studio time and required full time instructors to hold an advanced degree.

Student Gallery
OCAD also runs a student gallery, located at 285 Dundas St. West, east of Dundas and McCaul. The exhibitions on display are specially curated and feature submitted works by students at the school.
