The Scarborough Hospital - General Division is part of the Scarborough Hospital. In is located in east Toronto in the suburb of Scarborough (Near Lawrence and McCowan). It has another site located at The Scarborough Hospital - Birchmount Campus.
The community hospital has 556 beds. The Scarborough Hospital was founded in 1956 by the Sisters of Misericorde in 1956. The Scarborough Hospital is a regional centre of excellence for dialysis, family maternity services, vascular surgery, pacemakers, sexual assault care, and mental health and crisis programs.

Visiting Hours
Regular visiting hours are 11:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m. daily. Only two visitors per patient at a time are permitted. Children 12 years and under must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times.
Visiting hours may be extended for compassionate reasons.
Maternal Newborn and Child Care / Obstetrics has Visiting hours of 11:00 a.m.- 1:00 p.m. and 4:00 p.m.- 8:30 p.m. daily.
