Route: Begins in North York at 7:30 a.m. and shuts southbound Yonge St. and Rosedale Valley until 11:30 a.m. University Ave, where race ends, closed until 4 p.m.
Controversy
The race is criticized for being held only 3 weeks after the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon. However, the Toronto Marathon was the original marathon for the city and is traditional held in mid October.
