Check out the laneway houses on Toronto’s Croft Street

Croft Street is a Laneway in downtown Toronto. It is located near Spadina and College. ┬áIt is truly one of Toronto’s coolest laneways.

Originally called Ulster Ave., the laneway was renamed in 1908 after John Croft – the sole victim of the Great Toronto fire of April 19, 1904


The Laneway is significant because of the city of Toronto’s willingness to give it a name and thus assign addresses. The laneway is know for its laneway housing.
