Free Yoga in Toronto

Yoga can be a great way to compliment your wellness routine. If you’re not already practicing Yoga or are unfamiliar with this style of exercise, there are a number of places for free classes in Toronto to check out. Here is a list of some free Yoga classes in the “6ix”.

Please remember to wear appropriate attire and bring along a comfortable yoga mat in addition to other necessities such as water bottles, towels and some loose change if donations are accepted.

Toronto Public Library

In addition to free access to books and videos, a number of TPL branches offer free yoga programs. For a full listing of available programs, please go here. Some program of note include:

Lululemon In-Store Classes

The brand known for yoga apparel for men and women offers free Sunday morning classes under the “Sweat with Us” series. Locations include their Yorkville, Vaughn Mills, Yonge St. stores.

The Downtown store located on Queen West near spadina offers Tuesday evening classes. A full listing of free classes can be found on their community board (set filters to: “Sweat with us” and restrict location to Toronto or any city of your choice).

The Yoga Place

These sessions target specifically beginners and instructors teach Vinyasa yoga. Classes are held every Friday at 5:30pm at Spadina and Bloor. Participants need to sign up at their meetup site.

Free Outdoor Yoga during the Summer

Yoga In the Grove – Free yoga at Dufferin Grove Park (across from Dufferin Mall) every Sunday in July and August from 10:30am – 11:30am. More info here.

Yoga in High Park — Outdoor classes with a suggested donation of $2-$5, proceeds going to charity. Classes held every Sunday at 10am. For details go here.

Park Yoga – Drop-in classes take place Mondays 7-8pm at the south end of Riverdale Park in front of the Dr. Sun Yat Sen statue. For more info and cancellations go here.

Lululemon Eaton Centre 6inflow Outdoor Yoga Series – The Eaton Centre location of Lululemon is offering a bring-your-own-mat yoga classes from June 14 2016 to August 30 2016  at the Eaton Centre. Reservations needed. To reserve a spot, go here.
