Our favourite green rooftops in Toronto

Toronto has a number of green rooftops. Known as a “city within a park”, Toronto has encouraged green rooftop building.

Here are some of our favourite green roofs:

1 .  30 College St. The roof is actually a tranquil garden for the building occupants.

2. 400 King St. W. Mountain Equipment Co-op.  A collection of native grasses can be seen from the surrounding buildings.

3. 401 Richmond Street West – Toronto. The garden includes a 40ft greenhouse.
