Salad King still going strong – but don’t order salad

A popular hang out of Ryerson students, Salad King is famous for its patti dishes that are under $10. Dinners sit on long bench tables, so don’t expect privacy or quiet. The owners (Ernest Liu)have a sister restaurant called Linda at Shops at Don Mills.

In April 2010, the building which housed Salad King collapsed, shutting the business down. It  reopened in March 2011 at 340 Yonge St. on the second floor.

  • Pad thai
  • Green curries
  • Spring rolls
