Mar 1, 2016.  A hydro vault fire takes out power to downtown subway and streetcar service


June 8, 2015. A communications system failure shuts down the entire subway for several hours, stranding 120K commuters.


May 27, 2015.  It is revealed that street car tracks to the new storage facility at Leslie Barns was installed incorrectly.  The new tracks need to be ripped up and re-installed


March 30, 2015.  It is announced that the York University subway extension is delayed again.  It is over budget by $150M and delayed by 2 years


March 20, 2015.  A TTC bus driver is charged with hit and run in the death of a 14 year old girl

April 22, 2012. A TTC driver was caught texting while driving

Jan 22, 2010.  A TTC ticket collector was caught napping on the job
